One size: To fit baby 3-6 months.

21 sts and 40 rows = 4″ [10 cm] in garter st.

Foot: With MC, cast on 23 sts.
1st row: (WS). Knit.
2nd row: K11. M1. K1. M1. K11. 25 sts.
3rd row: K1. M1. Knit to last st. M1. K1. 27 sts.
4th row: Knit.
5th row: K12. M1. K3. M1. K12. 29 sts.


6th row: As 3rd row. 31 sts.
7th row: Knit.
8th row: K13. M1. K5. M1. K13. 33 sts.
Knit even in rows (garter st) until work from beg measures 1½” [4 cm], ending on a WS row.
Shape instep: 1st row: (RS). K19. K2tog. Sl1P. Bring yarn to front of work. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.
2nd row: Sl1P. K6. K2tog. Sl1P. Bring yarn to front of work. Turn. Rep last row 8 times more.


Next row: (RS). Sl1P. Knit to end of row.
Next row: Knit across all sts. 23 sts rem. Place marker at end of last row.
Next row: (K3. M1) twice. K11. (M1. K3) twice. 27 sts.
Knit even in rows (garter st) until work from marked row measures 2¼” [5.5 cm], ending on a RS row.
Next row: (WS). (K7. M1) 3 times. K6. 30 sts.
Next row: *K2. P2. Rep from * to last 2 sts. K2.
Next row: *P2. K2. Rep from * to last 2 sts. P2.
Rep last 2 rows of (K2. P2) ribbing 3 times more. Cast off in ribbing.
Bobbles (make 6 with A, make 4 with B)
Cast on 2 sts, leaving 4″ [10 cm] end.
1st row: Kfb. K1. 3 sts.
2nd row: K3.
3rd row: (Kfb) twice. K1. 5 sts.
4th row: K5.
5th row: K2tog. K1. K2tog. 3 sts.
6th row: K3.
7th row: Sl1P. K2tog. psso.
Fasten off, leaving 4″ [10 cm] end.


Place markers for 5 bobbles evenly spaced along center front of each Bootie between marked row after instep to first row of ribbing.
Thread both yarn ends of each Bobble tog onto tapestry needle and sew into position to match markers, alternating A and B as shown in photo. Sew leg and foot seam.
