- bear;
- knitting needles number 2;
- hook number 1.5;
- long needle with a large eye;
- cotton threads.
Let's start slowly.
First, tie the pattern.
I usually cast on twenty stitches and knit ten rows with the pattern I need.
Then I apply a ruler, stretching the sample a little, and see how many centimeters I got the sample in length.
Next is a simple calculation.
The 20 stitches of the pattern must be divided by the length of our pattern. As a result, we will find out how many loops are in one centimeter.
Now we need a baby for whom we will knit a hat.
Use a centimeter to measure your head circumference.
I got 19 cm.
I calculated, after knitting my pattern, that in one centimeter I have about 2.9 loops.
So 19X2.9 = 55
Great.
Cast on 55 stitches.
We knit several rows from the forehead to the ears. I got eight rows.
Divide the loops in half. I got 27.5. Mark the center with a thread (I have a 28 loop).
Can be marked with a pin.
We fasten our blank with pins on the head.
From the center on both sides, you should have the same number of loops.
I got seven loops on each side.
I usually use the back end of the hook to determine where to make the eye hole.
I managed to close five loops.
I write everything down.
We turn to knitting holes.
I am writing what I did.
Knit 15 loops, close 5, knit 15, close 5, knit 15 loops.
In the seamy row, in those places where we have closed loops, I add (throw on) five loops.
In the front row I knit the front yarn overs.
Then we knit straight, sometimes trying on.
When there is a small hole in the front row, we knit the entire row in two together in a row.
Cut off our thread, leaving a long tail. We fill in a long needle. Remove the loops on the needle and tighten.
Sew up at the seam. Crochet the edge.
We measure the hat and rejoice at the result of our labors.
Decorated the hat.
Good luck and patience :)
