Body
With MC, cast on 10 sts.
Beg with a knit row, work 2 rows in stocking st.
Next row: (RS). *Kfb. Rep from * to last st. K1. 19 sts.
Next row: Purl.
Next row: *Kfb. Rep from * to last st. K1. 37 sts.
Next row: K2. Purl to last 2 sts. K2. Next row: Knit.
Rep last 2 rows until work from beg measures approx 25″ [63.5 cm], ending on a WS row. Do not cast off.

Hood
Hood Back: K12. Leave these sts on a st holder. K13. Turn. Leave rem 12 sts on a st holder.
Cont working on center 13 sts in garter st (knit every row) for 48 rows. (24 garter ridges).
Cast off (RS).
Left Side of Hood: With RS facing and MC, pick up and knit 25 sts along left side edge of Hood Back. 1st row: (WS). Sl1P. Knit to end of row.
Next row: (K2tog) twice.
Next row: K2tog. Fasten off.

Right Side of Hood: With RS facing and MC, pick up and knit 25 sts along right side edge of Hood Back.
1st and alt rows: (WS). Sl1P. Knit to last st. K2tog (last st on needle and next st from right st holder).
2nd row: Sl1P. K10. Sl1. K2tog. psso. K11.
4th row: Sl1P. K9. Sl1. K2tog. psso. K10.

Belly Section
With RS facing and A, pick up and knit 6 sts at center of cast on edge of Body.

1st row: (WS). Purl.
2nd row: (Kfb) 5 times. K1. 11 sts.
3rd row: K2. Purl to last 2 sts. K2.
4th row: K2. Kfb. Knit to last 3 sts. Kfb. K2. 13 sts.
Rep last 2 rows 4 times more. 21 sts.
