KNIT SKILL LEVEL :EASY

Made with just one ball of fun and soft self-striping yarn, this blanket is great for gifts and naps.

What you will need:

1 ball 7016 Lilies

Needles: 5.5mm [US 9]

Yarn needle

GAUGE: 15 sts = 4″ [10 cm]; 24 rows = 4″ [10 cm] in St st.

CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge; however, exact gauge is not required for this
project.

Blanket measures 33″ (84 cm) wide and 34″ (86.5 cm) long.

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS :

kfb = knit into the front and back of the same stitch – 1 stitch increased.
ssk (slip, slip, knit) = slip next two stitches knitwise to right needle, insert point of left needle through front of
sts, knit these sts together – 1 stitch decreased.

BLANKET
Cast on 134 sts loosely.
Row 1 (Right Side): K1, kfb, k8, ssk, k2tog, k8, *kfb in next 2 sts, k8, ssk, k2tog, k8; repeat from * to last 2 sts, kfb,
k1.

Row 2: K1, purl to last st, k1. Repeat Rows 1 & 2 until approximately 100″ (254 cm) of yarn remains. Bind off all sts loosely in pattern.

FINISHING
With yarn needle, weave in loose ends.
