Niche Scarf

So, let’s begin.You will need approximately 250-300g of merino yarn measuring 90m / 50g.
In my case, it was a Pecci Filati bobbin Granito in 2 additions and 4.5 knitting needles, maybe 5.
Actually, the yarn consumption directly depends on the length of the scarf. In one case, I knitted a 1.5 meter scarf, in the other – 2m.
In order to prevent the edge of the scarf from folding, we knit fewer loops on the knitting needles, and then make additions to the harnesses.
The scheme is provided for 48 loops, but you can make the scarf wider by adding loops of the “rice” pattern, or by cutting the “rice” loops you will get a narrower scarf.
On knitting needles we collect 40 loops (4 of them are edging).
1st row: 2 edging, faces. hinges to the end of the row, 2 hem.
2nd row: 2 chrome., 1 front loop, 1 out. loop to the end of the row, 2 chrome.
Such a pattern will make an imitation of elastic, and the edge will not be pulled.
We tie in this way 6-8 rows and begin to form the main pattern.
1st row: 2 chrome., 8 loops of a pattern of rice (1 faces. 1 iz.loop), 1 faces., 1 increase (repeat 3 times), 2 out of loops, 1 faces, 1 increase, 2 persons, 1 increase, 2 persons , 1 increase, 2 persons, 1 increase, 2 persons, 1 increase, 1 persons, 1 increase, 2 life, 1 persons, 1 increase (repeat 3 rows), 8 loops with a “rice” pattern, 2 chrome.
We knit the 2nd row and all even rows according to the figure.
3rd row: we knit according to the scheme.
We knit a scarf of the required length, then we make decreases according to the same principle as the increases. Then we knit 6-8 rows of false gum and Voila! Our scarf is ready !!
